Global Fiber Optics Corp. has created a new type of breakout requiring a 2mm jacket. This type of jacket can be applied in both Multimode and Singlemode Fiber Optic Trunk Cables containing 6, 12, or 24 fibers. The cable broken out is distribution cable for indoor use. (See graphic below)

We will customize the length of the breakout for your application. We can also stagger the lengths of the individual fibers for a tidy layout.

It has advantages such as having a larger density of fibers in a smaller breakout and having more space when placed in an enclosure. Although it is only 2mm, it still provides similar protection as a 3mm jacket. The 2mm furcation tubing has the same 900um inner tube for protection as the 3mm furcation tubing.

The cable below has SC Multimode connectors, which can be substituted with either of the following connectors: LC, MU, ST, SC, SC/APC, FC, FC/APC, SMA or Mini BNC.
